REGULAR DAY ON CAMP


CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST

Breakfast is provided with a continental selection of breads, spreads, granola, porridge etc.

As well as plenty of unlimited bottled water, Coffee and Tea throughout the day at the Beach House.

 

COURSE BRIEFING

Before the ride of the day Coach Richard will outline the route ahead, analysing the gradient, length and terrain to expect.

Sprint points to look out for will be shown and very importantly, the Cafe stop too.

Individualised main climb power pacing plans will also be reviewed 1-2-1.

 

RIDE OF THE DAY

Rides vary in length from 33 - 102 km or 20 - 63 miles.

Although all rides feature substantial climbs varying in length from 4 -50 km or 2.5 - 31 miles, when we are on relatively flat ground around the coast, we have sprint competitions.  

1-2-1 skills coaching will be provided with selected riders each day.

 

LUNCH

Most days lunch will be at a  Cafe halfway through the ride and once the majority of the climbing is completed.

Time to fuel up on local Canaria cuisine and the best Spanish coffee.

Soak up the well earned views and exchange stories from the ride up.

 

POST RIDE ANALYSIS

1-2-1 analysis will be provided from Coach Richard on the days ride with feedback to get you riding smarter for the following days ride.

Video analysis and skills feedback will also be reviewed with selected riders each day.

 

EVENING MEAL

The evening is yours to go where you please and there are kitchen facilities at the Beach House for you to cook your own meals.

Or we would love you to join us and other Camp mates out at a local restaurant.

 

REST DAY

On the 1 week Power Training Camp, the rest day is yours to do as you wish from start to finish, no provided breakfast on this day.

Sleep in, go for a short recovery ride or rest as much as you like at the beach or go and explore Maspalomas or the rest of Gran Canaria.
